I have combination skin - with huge pores. I've purchased the Clinique 3-Step Skin Care system and with the 7 Day scrub and have used it for 3 months. I have combination skin, with medium pores. Which worked to calm the condition down significantly, but not completely get rid of it. I tried this skin care line for a month on the advise of a dermatologist. Nothing was helping so I used the 3 step skin care clinique product. I have never had acne problems and I had a real bad break out. I first bought this product because my face broke out after I took a certain birth control. I had never experienced so many spots, now I get 1 every second day. I used the product for about 2 months now and everytime I went to the Clinique counter and expressed my concerns about skin breakouts, I was told that the skin is getting rid of impurities. I use clinique soap, toner #2, and dramatically different moisturizer. It's a little dry, prone to occasional bouts of adult acne and mild sun damange due to living in Florida. I had put together my own 3 steps which are the mild cleansing soap, #3 toning lotion and the dramatically different moisturizing gel. I started using Clinique's 3 step program about 2 weeks ago and so far i am loving the results from it. I am in my forty's and i have combination skin. Although this program is pretty reasonab. It does not dry my skin at all and makes my skin feel very clean. It is always worked well for me, especially the soap. I have been using the Clinique 3 Step skincare program since I was about 17 years old. For about the first 3 weeks of use I had breakouts from all the impurities being drawn out of my skin but then when that was over this beautiful skin emerged and I have followed the regime now for 5 years and I couldn't be happier with my skin. I've been using it for 5 years now and I am very pleased with my skin.
